Last month, the CNHSC and NH snowmobile community lost a true pioneer and an irreplaceable part of our club, Everett “Ted” W. Johnston. Ted was one of the original founding members of our organization in the early 1970s, when it was first established as “The Bottom Bumpers Snowmobile Club”. For countless years, Ted devoted his time and energy to maintaining and grooming the trails that have become the heart of CNHSC. Beyond his contributions to snowmobiling, Ted was known for his deep love of the outdoors, his service in the United States Air Force, a Scoutmaster, and his craftsmanship as a woodworker. His passion, leadership, and commitment helped shape not only our trail system, but also the community and friendships that define our club today. Ted’s legacy can still be felt along every mile of trail and throughout the community. He will be remembered with gratitude, respect, and fondness by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest in peace, Ted.
Your tracks will forever remain a part of our journey.
