Bridge Builds / Trail Work
We have completed 2 of our 4 bridges this past weekend on 157, Amanda’s Trail. We have 2 more to go on 156N to start this Saturday. Some pictures of the bridge builds are attached below. We have had so many volunteers that have helped. All playing a roll, whether rebuilding culverts from all the heaving equipment and lumber going over, lifting planks, moving lumber, measuring, cutting, building, hammering 12″ spikes, and hauling….etc. Every member is count on to do something to keep it moving. Thank you to all who have helped, and volunteered for the last few weeks to get the first 2 accomplished.
All the rubber has been laid on corridor 11 railroad trestles. Teams went out the last 2 Sundays to get that complete before the snow starts to fall. Team members have also been working late nights the last month to complete our new Groomer shed at Dirt Designs. Needless to say it’s been a busy offseason getting ready.
With that being said…. We need help! The snow is starting to fall this week.. and we need to get the last 2 bridges done. If you can join on Saturday, December 6th, please meet at Dirt Designs on 73 Laundromat Rd. Thornton, NH. at 8am. Please RSVP prior to the weekend.
